“Saying “see you next week” is special…

In London, where life is often busy, it sometimes takes months to arrange a catch up with a friend.

When diaries do finally align, and we meet up, we sometimes can’t remember when we last saw each other.  So most of our conversation really is just ‘catching up’. 

There isn’t space for deeper conversations. Wondering together. Sparking new ideas.

The THOUGHT EXPERIMENTS IN PUBS community has given me lots of people to say “see you next week to”…

It’s also given me space for deeper conversations, wondering together, and new ideas. 

And as a result, I’ve made lots of new friends. 

I even see my old friends more, because they sometimes come to events too. 

So I’ve got more connection to my life. And I feel a lot better for it.
