“In late 2024, I made a conscious effort to engage with some of my intellectual hobbies such as reading and philosophy on Meetup, which I was already familiar with.

Through a friend, I was encouraged to try Thought Experiments in Pubs (TEIP) and I have since attended multiple times.

Having gone to a lot of meetups in the philosophy, literature and arts space, I confidently say that TEIP is a very unique format. As well as fomenting deep conversations using intriguing, creative and detailed thought experiments, there is a sense of community and purpose at the TEIP meetups, due in no small part to the efforts of the founder and host Bonny. It's a place where I have had great conversations and made connections with like-minded people.

I encourage anybody interested in communication, psychology, philosophy, reading or just meeting interesting people to attend.”
